MAFC U/12 Girls’ Salt River Tournament Success

We are thrilled to announce that our U12 girls’ team has emerged as Plate Winners at the Salt River Tournament—an incredible milestone for a relatively new division in our club.

The tournament marked the team’s first-ever appearance in such a competition, making this victory even more special. The girls showcased outstanding teamwork and determination throughout, beginning with a 5-0 win over Salt River in the semi-finals.

The final match against Bellville City was a tightly contested battle, ending 2-2 in regular time. After an intense period of extra time, our girls triumphed, clinching the Plate Final victory.

We extend heartfelt congratulations to the entire U12 team, their coaches Tahir and Grant, and especially Coach Nisaa, who expressed immense pride in the players. One of our own, Keziah with 11 goals, was also joint Top Goal Scorer of the tournament.
