Junior Registration

Meadowridge has a vibrant junior football section fielding teams from u7 all the way to u18.

The director of junior football at the club is Robin Flood (083 656 7508) who oversees all teams from under 12 to under 18.

Charlie Gordon-Finlayson (072 241 5839) is the director of mini football under 7 to under 11.

Preseason training:

We start our preparations for the season roughly two months before the season kicks off in earnest.

Preseason training begins in the week of the 18th March. 2019, with the junior season possibly starting 27th April.

The Junior registration officer for 2019 is Claire Wyley.

Registration Dates

Existing junior members are invited to register from Monday 28th January, with our new junior members being invited soon at a date TBA.


Junior subs this year will be R1,600 and R1,200 for siblings. This fee includes your shorts and socks. Tracksuits are not included.

Your payment reference is players initial and surname + JNR SUBS eg M SMITH JNR SUBS,

Registration Documents

There are five categories of registration requirements depending on your current situation:

Current/existing members with SAFA number:

Note: Please check if the member has a SAFA number on the database.

Current/existing members without a SAFA number:

New members (South African Citizens. i.e. have a South African ID number):

All foreign nationals (not holding a South African ID/passport) – new and existing:

  • 2 x colour ID photos (B&W not accepted) glued to forms (NO STAPLES).
    • SAFA form – in the box on the bottom right.
    • CTTFA form  – top left corner
  • Certified copy of birth certificate/passport or ID document/application. Actual size (not enlarged or reduced).
  • Certified copy of visa/permit – must be valid until the end July 2018.
  • Proof of Payment (EFT reference: Initial + Surname + JNR SUBS)

Transfers (If previously registered with another club):

  • 2 x colour ID photos (B&W not accepted) glued to forms (NO STAPLES).
    • SAFA form – in box on bottom right.
    • CTTFA form  – top left corner.
  • Duly authorised clearance certificate forms, signed by your previous club and if necessary countersigned by the previous LFA (Local Football Association).
    • SAFA card must be attached
  • Proof of Payment (EFT reference: Initial + Surname + JNR SUBS)

Please Check:

  • Follow the instructions carefully, as registration applications that are not complete cannot be processed.
  • Please check if the member has a SAFA number on the database.
  • ALL fields are completed and signed.
  • Do not staple the documents together (they will be processed separately).
  • Photos must be passport size and full colour, face on.
  • Copies of birth certs and passports must be actual size and certified (not enlarged or reduced).
  • Birth cert/passport/ID number on all the forms must be the same as on the ID copy.
  • Copies of birth certs/passport/visas should be stapled to the back of the CTTFA form (TBC).
